Both father and son are a credit to each other and Robert's portrait of his father, his love for the sea and the old time schooner captains blazing the courses across trackless oceans are a testament to his character. When I was just starting out as a charter skipper, Schooner Captain Boudreau was constantly pointed out to me as the "standard" by which all charter boats were measured. Many who helped me, pointed to Capt. Boudreau as the role model. This book, by his son, aptly describes his love for his craft, his love for his boats and his love for his family. If you want to know about schooners, get this book. If you want to read about one of the giants of the charter industry, get this book. If you just want a good read of a man and his dreams, get this book.
