This is an excellent true story of sailing and living on the edge. If you don't like the tremendous risks of living on the edge let this guy do it for you. He tells the story of living in Japan and building a boat, not to mention having a kid while doing it (how do people do this?) and then he needed more money for the boat. A friend invited him to smuggle some Marijuana into Australia on a sailing yacht. Risk, 28 years in prison. Reward, tons of money for his boat and living! He takes the risk and sails with the friend and another guy to India to get the Marijuana then they decide to deliver it to the southern part of Australia which is safer as the winds and seas are so ferocious that no other smugglers would try this. Sailors will love all of th sailing descriptions and problems encountered and adventure lovers will love everything. The author is a rough and tough survivor type but also well read which makes the writing more interesting. They finally succeed albeit sometimes horrible and seemingly insurmountable problems. All while supporting a wife an two kids!
