This book introduces basic terms, concepts and procedures which all new sailors need to understand, but does so in a "kid friendly" manner. The book also stresses water safety. It is the author's hope that once a child is properly introduced to thejoys and thrills of sailing, a life-long passionwill develop. In this modern 21st century world, there is a lot of "bad stuff" out there for kids to get into. Sailing is a great alternative.It's fast (or can be), it's fun, and it's green, totally green.
