(More customer reviews)Good noire done in the traditional style is hard to find anymore, but you'll find it here. Mr. Faville balances the needs of the style with good character development in a short space and an engaging and well-planned story of twists and turns. This isn't for gut-munching zombie fans, but the zombie element is well-played and doesn't overshadow the main story the characters are telling us. Mr. Faville's writing style lends itself well to the genre and his descriptions during the more physical scenes flow quite well. Crime drama/gumshoe/noire and zombie fans should give Avery Nolan the case.
